After a wildly successful ‘Vote for the Parting Shot’ contest in 2018, we simply have to keep this excitement going. Each of the photos pictured appeared as a Parting Shot in Rock & Gem during 2019, and we love them so much, we want to shine the spotlight on them for one last hurrah.
Just like last year, we will select three winners, at random from everyone who votes, to receive a Parting Shot Contest gift pack. We like to keep a little mystery, but we can tell you each prize pack will include a mineral, lapidary jewelry, a one-year subscription to Rock & Gem, and cabochons.
The way it works is you select your three favorite Parting Shots and send an email to the editor, Antoinette Rahn (arahn@beckett.com), with your top 3 votes. The deadline for voting is Jan. 5, 2020 and winners will be contacted the week of January 6, 2020 and announced in the March issue of Rock & Gem. Happy Voting!
