February 2014: Cover Line Correction
Text was missing from the cover line at the top of the Table of Contents page in the February 2014 issue, causing the specimen to be misidentified. The cover line should have read:
“The Lyda Hill Gems and Minerals Hall at the Perot Musem of Nature and Science (Dallas) features specimens from world-class collections. This beryl (var. aquamarine) on albite from Gilgit District, Pakistan, is in the collection of Marc Weill. (Jeff Scovil photo)”
